Description The Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) is a key behavioral health provider embedded as a core member of the multidisciplinary integrated care team, led by the primary care provider and including clinical nursing staff, case management, pharmacy and psychiatrists. The BHS’s role is to help the primary care provider and team improve their effectiveness and efficiency in managing the whole patient, focusing on the mental, behavioral and psychosocial challenges that often emerge in the primary care setting.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.

Upon hire: California Clinical Social Worker License.

Three years of work‑related experience.

Experience working with underserved, vulnerable populations.

Preferred Qualifications

Four years of work‑related experience in a primary care clinic or hospital.

Leadership experience.
