Lake Chevrolet is a well-established dealership serving the Milwaukee area, committed to providing an exceptional automotive experience for every customer. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Finance Manager to join our leadership team. Finance Managers work closely with our customers, sales consultants and Sales Managers to assist customers with the financial options associated with the purchase or lease of New, Pre-owned and Certified vehicles. They also act as the intermediary between the customer and the lenders to ensure all paperwork is properly completed in accordance with dealership policy, state and federal laws. Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

Present and offer extended warranties, service contracts, insurance products, and other related products that will insure, protect and enhance their vehicle ownership experience

Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases

Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability

Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position

Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and finance companies.

Collaborate with the sales department to maximize profitability and ensure a smooth transition from sales to financing.

Monitor and analyze finance performance metrics, including product penetration rates, gross profits, and chargebacks

Accurately submit deals to lenders for approval and assist with credit decisions

Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines

Prepare paperwork, bank contracts and complete vehicle delivery transactions

Oversee the expeditious funding of all contracts

Train and mentor sales staff on Finance Office processes and product knowledge

Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building trust and ensuring transparency throughout the finance process

Qualifications

Minimum 2 -3 years as a Finance Manager (F&I) Manager in an automotive dealership

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability goals

Strong understanding of dealership finance, leasing, and insurance products

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and finance software

Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability

Well-versed in title laws, vehicle registration process and compliance regulations

Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills

Expertise in presentation and sales skills

Valid driver’s license
