We are seeking a
Civil / Structural Engineer
to join a well-established engineering and construction organization specializing in large-scale, field-erected steel structures. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, real-world projects across industrial sectors including power generation, water/wastewater, chemicals, terminals, and manufacturing.
Position Overview As a Civil / Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and execution of civil and structural engineering solutions for heavy industrial projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet regulatory standards, project specifications, and safety requirements while supporting on-time and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop civil and structural engineering solutions for industrial facilities and structures
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure integrity, safety, and compliance
Prepare engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and construction teams throughout project execution
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry regulations
Support project management efforts, including schedules, quality control, and constructability reviews
Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and engineering best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience in civil and structural engineering design and analysis
Strong understanding of applicable engineering codes and industry standards
Proficiency with
AutoCAD, STAAD, Excel , and related engineering software
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred
or ability to obtain
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
