Role in Summary Whirlpool is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Process Engineer to join the Engineering team. This role supports daily operations and leads continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in productivity, quality, and safety.
Develop and implement process improvements and cost‑reduction strategies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
Monitor process performance using KPIs and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
Lead and support continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Maintain and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Participate in new equipment commissioning and support engineering trials.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and industry regulations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
1+ years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role (internships included).
Preferred Skills and Experiences
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, WCM Methodology).
Familiarity with CAD software and data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Google Sheets, Smartsheets, MES).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
