There are
Electrical/Electronic Technician
positions in Irvine, PA, and from time to time may be assigned to Corry/Warren plants that may be awarded in the near future. The successful candidate(s) will be required to work rotating shifts, including 24/7, and in some areas, there may be seven‑day continuous schedules with mandatory overtime work (over 40 hours/week). This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
Performs testing, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs of electrical/electronics of NC and CNC controls
PLC software programming
CADD
Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting machine tools, control circuits, electro/mechanical and/or hydraulic servo portions of systems
Maintenance of plant power distribution
Perform installation, programming and set‑up of Servo, Variable Frequency and Digital AC and DC drive systems
Performs repairs, adjustments, alignments, and calibration or ENF equipment and systems
Perform other duties as deemed necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Two‑Year Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent and 4‑6 years of experience in NC, CNC, and PLC controls
Understanding of electrical practices, capabilities, and quality requirements
Basic knowledge of machine tools including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
Strong math skills and problem‑solving ability
Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel)
Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
