Base pay range: $155,000 - $170,000 per year.
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus.

Job Description Our client is seeking a
Project Control Engineer
to lead capital projects and automation initiatives across their manufacturing operations. This hands‑on role owns projects from concept through commissioning, driving efficiency, reliability, and growth.
What You’ll Do
Lead capital projects: new lines, packaging automation, retrofits, and facility upgrades
Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and ROI justifications
Manage vendors, OEMs, system integrators, and contractors
Design, troubleshoot, and support PLC‑based control systems
Standardize controls architecture, programming, and documentation
Lead/support FATs, SATs, installation, startup, and commissioning
Improve uptime, throughput, and reliability through automation
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain
Train plant teams on new equipment and systems
Equipment & Systems High‑speed packaging, conveyors (required), ovens/proofers, material handling, utilities, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in EE, Controls, Automation, or equivalent experience
3+ years in controls, automation, or project engineering (manufacturing)
Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting
Food manufacturing experience
Highly Preferred Food or CPG manufacturing, Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, OEM & integrator management, OSHA/NFPA knowledge, Lean/Six Sigma.
