Base Pay Range $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation. Perform oil changes and other basic services. Use the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition. Maintain shop cleanliness, including service area, tire racks, showroom, and building exterior. Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws. Transport customers, pick up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or corporate office. Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections following company and state guidelines. Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the supervisor. Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook. Work flexible schedules, Monday–Friday.
Qualifications General understanding of under-hood, mechanical, and under-carriage assemblies. Valid driver’s license. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands Moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, and hazardous materials. Extreme heat and/or cold in varying ambient temperatures. Stand for up to eight hours per day; walk to access various areas. Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; full range of motion for arms and hands. Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly; lift and move up to 70 pounds frequently. Communicate with customers and shop personnel.
