Primary Purpose The Lead Technician-P&D (Lead P&D Technician) coordinates the daily tasks and routines for the P&D team, coordinating pickup and deliveries as scheduled, and serves as the primary contact for customers regarding issues and works with local management to resolve. The Lead P&D Technician also drives P&D trucks to scheduled worksites and services portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks and showers.
Essential Functions
Drive P&D trucks to scheduled worksites and perform necessary services on restrooms, sinks, holding
Conduct random quality control audits on pickup & delivery of portable restrooms, sinks, holding tanks, etc. in an attempt to assess the quality of service being provided. Assessment should include: placement, quality of unit, timeliness, customer satisfaction & safety
Assist with accident investigations and completing required paperwork
Assist with Safety tailgate meetings as needed
Serve as a resource to drivers regarding vehicle issues encountered by the DVIR and reports issues to members of management and safety
Assist with training of new drivers or re‑training of current drivers
Serve as a positive role model and help promote professional attitudes in employees
Conduct daily pre‑shift & post‑shift vehicle inspections & report deficiencies to the shop immediately. Also, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Supervisor/Manager
Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc.
Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
Valid Driver License (CDL or non‑commercial).
Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
Physical Requirements
Sit while driving and stand while servicing products
Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
Repeat the same movements
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance
Speak clearly so customers can understand
Understand the speech of another person
Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them
Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion
Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling
Lift up to 40 lbs from your waist to your shoulders
Lift 30 lbs from the floor to your head
Crouch and squat
Push 100 lbs and pull 100 lbs horizontally

Salary Range $23.94 – $33.52 / hour

Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
