Lead Financial Advisor
A financial services firm with a mission to ensure retirees reach their retirement goals of financial security is seeking a Lead Financial Advisor to join our team.
This highly successful independent firm focuses on providing Financial Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, initiative, integrity, and a solid work ethic. As part of the Advisor team, they will facilitate operations associated with client hospitality, information services, and B2B monetary transfers, assist with cases, analysis, and rebalancing of assets with existing clients. The advisors do not prospect; they rely on a robust marketing program and referrals from existing clients.
Responsibilities
Prepare client files with critical and pertinent financial planning information.
Initiate Business-to-Business phone calls in support of financial transactions.
Build rapport and provide hospitality to clients.
Perform portfolio risk analysis and provide investment recommendations based on research.
Assist with client case updates, onboarding, applications, and documents, meeting prep and process.
Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
Participate in client meetings to co‑present recommendations and deliver advice.
Meet with clients and help close business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
Series 65 or 66 and Series 7 licenses.
Life and health insurance license – preferred, not required.
Knowledge of key financial, investment, risk‑management concepts and retirement planning.
Proficiency with mathematical calculations.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Ability to give an oral presentation to a small group.
Social and emotional intelligence.
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary with Bonus opportunities.
