Job Title: Phlebotomist I

Location: Pinecrest, FL
Duration: 5+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift Timings:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Position Overview:

The Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) serves as the face of the organization, interacting directly with patients for routine health checks or critical diagnostic needs. This role involves collecting high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring adherence to established protocols. The ideal candidate will create a professional, trustworthy environment while performing procedures skillfully, safely, and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following standard procedures.
  • Accurately maintain records and documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a positive organizational image.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (mandatory in CA, NV, WA).

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ year preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in keyboard/data entry required.

Additional Details:

  • Candidates must list home city and commute time on resume.
  • Reliable transportation required (rideshare/bus not considered reliable).
  • Must be punctual and available for scheduled shifts; excessive absenteeism/tardiness will result in termination.
  • Candidates should live within a 20–25 minute commute to the worksite.
