Job Title: Phlebotomist 
Job Location: Boynton Beach, FL

Job Duration: 5+ Months (Possibility of extension/ Temp to Hire)
Shift: Mon - Fri 6:30am-3:30pm w/ rotating weekends.

Job Summary:
  • The Patient Services Representative I is the frontline representative for patients seeking routine health services or diagnostic insights.
  • This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and delivering a patient experience built on trust, clarity, and professionalism.
  • The PSR I follows all established procedures and demonstrates strong leadership behaviors, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily tasks accurately, efficiently, and on schedule under the direction of the Area Supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
  • Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following all procedural guidelines.
  • Create a positive and supportive experience for patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort during specimen collection.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records, documentation, and data entry.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism to patients, clients, colleagues, and the general public.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to perform high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
  • Flexibility to work based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
    Reliable transportation (public transit, ride-share, or drop-off not considered reliable).
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance; must be able to stay for the full scheduled shift.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months experience required.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
  • Keyboarding and data entry skills required.
