Electronics Technician

Shift is Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM-3:30 PM with OT available on the weekends.
Job Summary This role is responsible for setting up test apparatus and conducting tests on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units in accordance with established methods, procedures, and standards. The position includes troubleshooting to the component level, calibrating electronic systems, and analyzing test results to ensure product performance. The candidate will work in a dynamic production environment, supporting customer schedules and collaborating with engineers to improve test procedures and product designs.
Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate test apparatus for electronic assemblies and RF circuits following established procedures.
Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to design specifications.
Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required.
Troubleshoot malfunctions to the component level and replace parts or components as directed.
Utilize schematic diagrams to isolate failures in analog and digital circuitry.
Perform tests, analyze results, and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
Assist engineers in developing test procedures for new products.
Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other methods.
Use hand tools, small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions using Microsoft Suite and data collection programs.
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year of direct experience testing electronic assemblies.
Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital, and RF circuits.
Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry.
Ability to use measurement devices such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards, signal generators, and RF power meters.
Experience with flying probe and high-power testing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite for documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive RF testing experience.
Familiarity with radar systems.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to an associate degree or demonstrated ability to perform technical tasks.
Work Experience
At least 1 year of relevant experience in electronic testing and troubleshooting.
