Position Summary: Seeking a driven engineer to join our sales team focused on growing business with existing customers and developing new business. This role involves applications engineering, sales support, and field service work. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast‑paced, result‑driven environment.
Training & Onboarding: Extensive formalized training and mentorship develop skills and a deep understanding of CaptiveAire products, market strategy, application engineering processes, and business development.

A Day In The Life A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks; no two days are identical. Projects span design, procurement, coordination, and post‑sale support.
Typical Tasks
Outside sales meetings and calls with existing and new customers.
Application engineering – applying products using sound engineering principles.
Project management – managing schedules and plans to ensure timely equipment installation.
Service and technical support of existing equipment.
Assisting contractors with wiring on site and providing remote troubleshooting for kitchen staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide integrated application engineering and design support for a wide range of ventilation applications.
Work directly with engineers, contractors, end users, and food service dealers.
Perform inside sales support, application engineering, and outside sales duties.
Present, quote, submit, and provide technical product support; conduct site visits and troubleshoot.
Educate and promote CaptiveAire products through calls, meetings, presentations, and demos.
Research and develop new business opportunities.
Deliver top‑notch customer service and go above and beyond to serve the customer.
Prioritize quick turnaround times.
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and customer experience.
Required Skills
0‑5 years experience.
4‑year technical degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, or science‑oriented curriculum preferred.
Excellent computer, organizational, and communication/presentation skills.
Problem‑solving with a passion for continuous learning.
Strong desire to interface with the customer.
Embrace new technologies and business savvy.
Passion for work and aggressive nature to succeed.
Willingness to travel for training opportunities.
Expectation of FE Exam completion within 6 months of employment (for engineering graduates).
