Construction Manager (Southern New Mexico)

What You'll Do
Promote safety as a core value by ensuring all employees follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client safety policies.

Support relationship strategy within every strategic account nationwide.
Meet all deliverables while maintaining alignment with customer and leadership teams.
Guide collaboration between internal pillars to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop evaluation methods to guide operational strength assessments.
Identify areas for optimization; develop KPIs to guide performance improvement.
Produce accurate and timely status reports throughout the project life cycle.
Guide project proposals, contracts, finances and ensure profitability.
Serve as point of escalation and guide escalation to corporate management.
Build strong relationships with regional and corporate customer personnel.
Coordinate and facilitate monthly/quarterly presentations to customers.
Mentor Senior Project Managers.
Provide training, coaching, and motivation.
Assist budget development and manage overhead expenses.
Identify areas for improvement and propose growth strategies.
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
Adhere to ethical standards; comply with all regulations and applicable laws.
Prioritize program communications and collaborations.
Coordinate with corporate partners to meet objectives and all legal compliance requirements.
Build strong relationships with manufacturer and distribution partners.
Collaborate and support Project Manager with deliverables and staff support.
This position requires 30‑40% travel, as determined by E2 and/or the customer(s).
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required.
PMP certification preferred.
RCDD certification is preferred.
BICSI Technician Certified preferred.
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
7 years telecommunications/low voltage management and revenue growth experience.
10+ years construction/telecommunications/data center industry experience with strong background in multiple facets of technology.
Demonstrated experience with program management, leadership, scheduling, cost control and risk and opportunity management.
In‑depth understanding of hyperscale engineering requirements such as data center design, construction, operations, infrastructure installations and quality and safety protocol.
Proven project management experience with budget, safety and quality expertise required.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting an environment of world‑class client focus, transparency and collaboration.
Experience with security, audio‑visual, videoconferencing, wireless communications preferred.
Decision‑making and judgment skills.
Ability to assess information and interpersonal interactions to negotiate business that meets or exceeds client expectations while providing a profitable revenue stream for E2 Optics.
Strong leadership, human resources management and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
Ability to influence and negotiate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) and MS Project.
Ability to understand and effectively quote every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross‑ and interconnections, and testing.
Proficient with reading and understanding blueprints of floor plans and construction designs.
Knowledge of data infrastructure industry including technology, quality and safety standards.
Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling.
Knowledge of the PMBOK Guides and Standards.
Familiarity with industry rules and regulations.

The employee regularly sits, talks, or hears, uses hands, stoops, kneels, reaches with hands and arms, and talks or hears. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 ft, operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required, and may be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
