Job Description & Duties Under the general direction of the Environmental and Facilities Unit (EFU) Senior Oil and Gas Engineer (Supervisor), the Associate Oil and Gas Engineer will independently perform engineering work related to tanks, vessels, and associated facilities operations, maintenance, and compliance for the Environmental, Facilities, and Field Surveillance Group. Responsibilities include:
Applying hydrocarbon technology knowledge for operations, production, and oil field practice.
Leading teams, communicating findings, managing data, preparing presentations, and conducting engineering work.
Ensuring tank testing, inspection, and compliance with CalGEM regulations.
Maintaining engineering records and contributing to process improvements.
Note:
All relevant work experience, skills, and professional qualifications must be listed on STD 678. Applications will be screened based on the information provided on STD 678 and not on the resume or Statement of Qualifications. Applications with “See Resume” or “See Attached” will not be considered.
Special Requirements
Valid California Driver’s License (CDL) with number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements or restrictions.
