We’re looking for a Senior Building Automation Technician to join our team and play a key role in shaping smarter, more energy‑efficient buildings. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the installation, programming, and commissioning of state‑of‑the‑art building automation systems. What You’ll Do
Lead and direct a team to configure, commission, and troubleshoot building automation and direct digital control (DDC) systems. Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure projects are delivered accurately. Be the technical field lead for delivery projects and solutions. Develop site‑specific graphics, alarms, and system documentation. Lead system commissioning, testing, and startup for new and retrofit projects, working with third‑party commissioning agents to ensure full project sign‑off. Work closely with engineering, programming, and project management teams to provide technical direction and ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery. Maintain tools, equipment, and technical knowledge through training and ongoing development. Build positive customer relationships by providing training, responding to concerns, and ensuring long‑term satisfaction. Travel occasionally (with some overnight stays) and be flexible to support projects outside standard hours as needed. What We’re Looking For
Strong communicator, comfortable working directly with customers and project teams. Desire to lead, learn, teach, and mentor junior BAS technicians. 5+ years of hands‑on experience in the building automation industry. Tridium Niagara experience or ability to quickly become trained and certified. Honeywell and/or Alerton experience (highly preferred). Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems/mechanical systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project and CAD tools a plus. Self‑motivated, able to manage time and multiple projects independently. Why Join Us
