Senior Accountant
to join their team!
Join a dynamic finance team in a company known for valuing ideas and contributions, regardless of your level. The role involves complex accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to month‑end close processes. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Monitor bank accounts and assist with transaction coding
Process EFT payments for carrier payments
Reconcile monthly premiums and claims activity
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with MGU activities and accounting data tracking
Contribute to month‑end closing tasks and journal entries
Mentor and onboard newer team members
Work closely with the controller on accounting tasks
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting related field
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
Experience in audit preparation
GAAP accounting knowledge
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Experience in insurance‑related accounting
Workday experience
Knowledge of Self‑Funded Health Plans
Experience with Reinsurance and Stop‑Loss accounting
