to join them in Austin or NYC.
The Opportunity We’re hiring a
Manager/Director, Business Development
to architect, optimise, and lead the full outbound and inbound pipeline engine. This role will build and scale a high-performing BDR team while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to create a predictable revenue-generation motion.
What You’ll Build
Design and continuously optimise the full BDR motion, from lead routing to SQL handoff
Own performance metrics: build dashboards, analyse conversion data, and identify funnel bottlenecks
Partner with Marketing and RevOps to improve lead quality, attribution, and tech stack performance
Run A/B tests across messaging, cadences, and outreach plays to drive efficiency
Team & Talent
Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class BDR team with clear paths to progression
Deliver ongoing 1:1 coaching using call reviews, performance data, and skill-development frameworks
Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous learning
Revenue Impact
Drive predictable pipeline generation aligned to company growth targets
Model headcount needs, capacity plans, and BDR productivity forecasts
Create incentive plans and performance programmes that reward high-impact behaviours
What Success Looks Like
Consistent overachievement of monthly & quarterly pipeline goals
Strong SDR → AE conversion rates and team retention
Continuous improvement in lead-to-SQL velocity and quality
Trusted cross-functional partner to sales, marketing, and leadership
What You’ll Need
Experience leading high-performing BDR teams within a high-velocity
B2B SaaS environment
Proven track record of exceeding pipeline targets and building scalable BDR processes
Experience of selling into high regulated industries like Financial Services
Data-driven mindset — using analytics and metrics to coach, diagnose issues, and drive strategy
Systems thinker with a player-coach mentality and ability to build & iterate rapidly
Strong communication skills across coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership
Hands‑on experience with modern sales tech: CRM, sales engagement, conversation intelligence, and AI-driven tooling
Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
