A critical position in the Americas Training Department’s ability to deliver a successful service, the incumbent will collaborate with a complex breadth of domestic and global stakeholders internally and will have regular contact with our customers. The role holder will be an important point of contact, responsible for facilitating training delivery across the Americas.
The Training Operations Specialist is expected to play an active role in the Americas Training Operations Pillar, assisting Operations management as needed. Will be responsible for facilitating internal and external stakeholder training courses and upholding best practices to achieve departmental and company goals. Opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
Schedule instructor led and online courses for both internal and external customers; maintain associated training service orders, records, and reports
Maintain proper soft and hard copy training records housed outside of the Learning Management System (LMS); assist with shipment coordination of Iron Mountain records
Provide support to the LMS Administrator in managing learner profiles, course enrollments, grades, and certificates within the LMS
Represent the department in meetings with various internal and external stakeholders
Serve as a point of contact for complex training queries and non-standard requests, providing guidance and support to the Americas and Global Operations Teams
Manage many standard training orders; support Sr. Operations Specialist and management with program (complex) orders and other VIP training accounts
Support Department management with key functions which are critical to operational and financial success; performance critically impacts the Department’s ability to meet revenue goals
Support in the creation and maintenance of all Training Department policies; aid the information flow for process improvement and quality information
Manage inventory of service tokens, office and classroom supplies for the department; submit order requests on a quarterly or as needed basis
Comply with all applicable global and regional export control and security regulations; submit appropriate visitor, border entry, and visa paperwork

Qualifications Education and Experience Education Level:
Associate’s degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Years of Experience:
Preferred two (2) years working within a training organization

Ability to independently make effective, timely decisions; source and analyze complex information
Aptitude to persistently pursue and achieve effective results which drive the business forward
Experience effectively communicating with customers through both verbal and written correspondence
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Adept at scheduling activities in a commercial environment
Skilled in business operations software such as SAP
Proficient with learning management systems such as Absorb
Capable of understanding and articulating complex information to a range of stakeholders
Highly skilled and proficient in MS Office applications
Competent with unified customer experience platforms such as Genesys Cloud
Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Capacity to engage, challenge and work effectively with others, including those among diverse backgrounds
Ability to build an effective network of relationships both internally and externally, and understand customer needs
Willingness and ability to identify and support change and continuous improvement, in own and wider business environment

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $42,080 – 94,800/yr (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant and alignment with internal and market data.)
