Requirements & Responsibilities
Knowledge of Integrated Eligibility (Medicaid, SNAP/TANF or Child Care)
Knowledge and experience testing eligibility rules
Experience with reports and integration testing
Proficiency with test management tools
Ability to script using automation tools such as Selenium & Cucumber
Manual scripting and test execution
Act as key point of contact for QA aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating QA resources
Ensure all testing work is carried out in accordance with the test plan, including schedule and quality requirements
Provide feedback to the system integrator on the implications of testing outcomes
Knowledge of SDLC and defect lifecycle
Adhere to formal QA processes and daily goals as established by the QA lead
Proactively follow up on questions and defects to closure
Respond to all requests from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
Additional Qualifications
7+ years of experience with HHS Eligibility Systems and Policy
7+ years of experience as a tester with knowledge in Medicaid and SNAP/TANF benefits and skills in writing and executing test scripts
Experience ensuring that the Systems Implementation (SI) team uses industry‑accepted best practices
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of test management software
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Excellent communication skills
