Full-time, Hourly $24.00 - $26.40/hour. Shifts available Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.

About DDI For nearly 65 years, DDI has been a leading agency providing a full spectrum of care for over 1,600 children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We are driven by a dedicated team and a deep belief in the potential of every individual.

The Role As an Assistant Day Program Manager, you will support individuals with disabilities in daily living activities, foster independence, promote well‑being, and help them connect with communities. You will supervise staff, train new staff, and ensure active treatment.

What You'll Do

Supervise staff activities and administer disciplinary action.

Implement emergency procedures in crisis situations.

Obtain AMAP Certification within 90 days and keep current.

Train and supervise new staff to implement active treatment.

Assist Program Manager with staff issues, disputes, and paperwork.

Document formal goals and protocols per CFA/ISP.

Implement behavior plans and related components of annual plan.

Evaluate monthly progress and formulate new objectives.

Accompany individuals to medical appointments.

Complete incident reports (SCIP‑R reports).

Participate in development of formal goals, protocols, and behavior plans.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings and annual recertification trainings.

What You Bring

High School Diploma; BA/BS preferred.

One (1) year experience working with developmentally disabled adults.

Valid NYS driver’s license approved for driving.

Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Support.
