Business Office Manager
– Franklin Senior Living, Crescent Landing, Hattiesburg, MS Frontier Senior Living is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to lead financial, administrative and operational activities at our Hattiesburg Assisted Living & Memory Care community. Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $50,000 – $52,000 / yr (performance‑based bonus programs available). Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) match, and other standard corridor benefits. Responsibilities
Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide service‑oriented customer interactions. Maintain positive relations with residents, families, staff, and guests. Coordinate marketing tours, marketing meals, and community promotions. Recruit, interview, evaluate, and supervise receptionist staff; oversee scheduling and quality service. Assist the Executive Director with pre‑employment screening of new hires. Receive, distribute, and update mail and communications for staff and residents. Track and record monthly rental and other payments, updating the A/R system as needed. Daily update of the A/R system with census changes, move‑ins/move‑outs, and level‑of‑care adjustments. Collect past‑due rents, working with Medicaid case managers, residents, and family members. Maintain resident, employee, and other business files. Prepare semi‑monthly payroll reports and submit staff hours to Payroll Department. Enter new employee information and changes into the intranet website. Communicate with Staff Accounting to ensure smooth A/P, A/R, and payroll processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic clerical skills: typing, filing, light bookkeeping, computer proficiency, and ability to work in a multi‑interruptive environment. Conflict resolution skills and ability to resolve disputes positively. Willingness to work with elderly residents and function as a team member.
