Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Understand project lifecycle, phases, and roles/responsibilities within each phase.
Comprehend the customer’s Engineering and Construction Business Plan and follow all guidelines.
Interface with procurement to ensure project materials have been ordered and establish lead times.
Collaborate with trades to establish cost estimates and schedule durations.
Monitor project spend and construction progress to ensure projects are within budget.
Process project change requests in a timely manner.
Apply basic estimating skills to create bottom‑up project estimates with stakeholder input.
Use and modify MS Project templates while retaining schedule logic.
Create PO requests for materials and services as needed.
Participate in project meetings and present information as required.
Work with the project team to identify, mitigate, or eliminate safety risks.
Requirements
Strong wastewater treatment and UPW systems background.
Previous construction project planning and execution experience.
Experience leading all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule and budget.
Preferred
Certification in Business Process Management, such as PMP.
Experience in the semiconductor industry.
Greenfield or Brownfield project experience.
Physical Effort/Activities Walk up to 5 miles per day, stand for 8–10 hours at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights or on ladders, lift up to 50 pounds. Work in constrictive attire, wear appropriate personal protective equipment and have strong manual dexterity. These physical demands are representative of those necessary for the essential functions of this job.
