Delivery Specialist - Hub
O'Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a Delivery Specialist – Hub to deliver parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers safely and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions
Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route.
Maintain daily route manifest and vehicle/fuel card, vehicle, and keys security.
Ensure invoices are verified and route manifest signed by designated team member at each store.
Report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stores.
Project a professional image to maintain good customer relations.
Communicate problems or special needs from stores to store management.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Check fluid levels and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager and ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle locked and secure at end of day.
Drive safely and defensively.
Skills / Education / Knowledge / Experience / Abilities
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
Desired
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
