Location Irvine, CA
Reporting To Associate Vice President of Community Management
Status Non‑Exempt, Full‑Time
Salary $23.00 - $25.00 / Hourly (DOE)

Position Purpose The Compliance Inspector partners closely with their supervisory team to ensure consistent adherence to the community’s CC&Rs, Rules and Regulations, and other key standards. This role requires a strong understanding of HOA governing documents and applicable state/federal regulations as well as the ability to use an online system to track and report findings. It requires independent prioritization and self‑management to meet assigned tasks.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Complete in‑person physical site inspections for Association rules adherence by community membership and residents
Ensure management of inspection schedule based on contracted frequency of site reviews
Review Association common areas for upkeep and elevate concerns to Assistant Community Manager or Community Manager
Utilize company designated software or reporting system to track inspections and elevate compliance processes on homeowner accounts
Escalate questions or concerns requiring secondary review, as applicable
Complete 60–100 inspections of all assigned Association units per month (geography and traffic dependent)
Perform escrow inspections within seven business days; complete application validation documents as needed
May conduct inspections for properties that transition from the Developer stage – focusing on quality standard compliance and cleanliness of common areas
Regularly communicate with multiple levels of staff to ensure effective channels remain open between the Community Management team and homeowners regarding compliance matters; serve as a conduit to relay feedback appropriately and in a timely manner
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of work experience
Ability to meet deadlines and address time‑sensitive issues
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to provide high‑level customer service with attention to detail and organization
Must be a team player
Ability to self‑manage time in order to complete assigned tasks during work hours
Willing to learn company processes and procedures, and use proprietary software
Must be able to manage workflow on a smartphone or tablet, complete dictation, take and describe photos, and document findings in an electronic system
Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests at all times
Special Position Requirements
Must have reliable transportation to conduct site visits
Must be able to drive in the dark if required
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with company policy
Essential Functions
Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, etc.
Ability to stand and walk properties, at ground level, for up to 4 hours at a time as needed to support clients
Be stationary for periods of time
Ability to drive for up to 3 hours at a time
Relocate up to 25 pounds
Travel to and from off‑site client locations

Monday‑Friday from approx. 8:00 am‑5:00 pm
This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs
