Opportunity This role executes the sampling function in the warehouse. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, material staging, inventory maintenance, and record keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for receipt and sampling of all raw materials, chemicals, and supplies.

Maintain and move sample quantities in the electronic system.

Ensure materials are staged properly for production areas.

Load and unload trucks and other vehicles delivering or picking up controlled and non‑controlled substances from the premises.

Prepare documents required in Production, QC, and R&D, and update all manual and automated records.

Grant access of authorized individuals to controlled substance storage areas.

Train new employees on sampling processes and procedures.

Ensure the required sampling workflow is met to eliminate downtime.

Assist in additional warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, staging and inventory maintenance as needed.

Complete training requirements and maintain compliance with all assignments.

Maintain work areas and perform job functions safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and batch record instructions.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of warehouse or related experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industries.

Forklift experience or certification is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office; experience with LMS, ERP, etc. preferred.

Ability to receive instruction and follow directions.

Positive interpersonal skills; ability to interact with co‑workers and management.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Ability to follow company policies & procedures.

Adherence to cGMP and other regulatory requirements.

Ability to read and interpret documents and make basic judgments on the suitability of received goods.

Capability to operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment.

Attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies.

Problem Solving

Handle routine to semi‑routine assignments that require recognition of deviations from accepted practice.

Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies to select methods for solutions.

Receive general instruction for routine work and detailed instruction for new assignments.

Recommend methods and procedures for problem resolution as requested.
