Maintenance Technician

Shift & Pay Shift:
Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay:
$26 /hour
Responsibilities
Maintain the physical condition of interior and exterior systems and machinery.
Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.) and waste management systems.
Complete assigned service requests and perform turn‑key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent‑ready promptly.
Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks.
May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors.
Qualifications
High school graduate preferred.
One to three years of experience in maintenance service work orders and property maintenance.
Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications, internet–based and custom applications.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Special Requirements / Certifications
Technical training or HVAC certification is desirable.
Skill in patch, texture and painting is desirable.
High degree of mechanical skill.
