Site Development Business Development Manager Position Summary

The Site Development Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in site development/earthwork, and civil construction markets. This role focuses on building relationships with developers, general contractors, municipalities, engineering firms, and property owners to position the company as the preferred partner for site development services. This is a salaried position with benefits and additional bonus or commission. Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in site development, civil construction, earthwork, utilities, grading, and infrastructure projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate developers, GCs, engineers, architects, municipal decision‑makers, and industry partners. Lead the proposal and bidding process, including opportunity tracking, pre‑construction coordination, scope of development, pricing support, and presentations. Research local and regional markets to identify trends, project pipelines, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic growth. Attend industry events, networking functions, and pre‑bid meetings to expand company visibility and generate leads. Collaborate with operations, estimating, pre‑construction, and executive leadership to ensure accurate proposals and strong project delivery alignment. Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide weekly/monthly reports on business development activities. Support strategic partnerships and teaming agreements with subcontractors, engineering firms, and developers. Represent the company brand with professionalism, demonstrating strong technical understanding of site development, infrastructure, and construction services. Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in business development within construction, preferably with experience in site development, civil, land development, or earthwork. Strong understanding of pre‑construction, estimating, and project lifecycle within civil/site work. Proven track record of building client relationships and securing new project opportunities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ability to interpret plans, specifications, and project documents is a plus. Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Yearly Salary range is 70k to 85k plus benefits. Commission and Bonus opportunities available.
