What You Will Do:
Support the Receipt Inspection Team by organizing and preparing the inspection queue, printing documentation for inspectors, communicating order status updates to customers, tracking Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), and processing salvage requests.
Work closely with Document Control and Records to ensure all inspection records are accurately entered into the Enterprise Document Records Management System (EDRMS).
Enter data for annual rigging inspections into the HLR database, order materials for the team, and track key metrics such as weekly expedites and monthly ALDPI orders.
Coordinate with Receiving COR and Accounts Payable to resolve outstanding orders.
What You Need:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and accurate customer correspondence via email.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Outlook, Oracle, Concur, MS Teams, or comparable systems.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management at all levels through both written and verbal channels.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the workday.
Excellent organizational abilities, including tracking shipments, logging receipts, maintaining documentation, coordinating with vendors/suppliers, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
Education/Experience:
Position requires an Associate's Degree in a relevant field or a combination of technical certification and 2 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Desired Qualifications:
Basic understanding of quality concepts and principles, including inspection principles and practices.
Administrative support experience working with a team.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, twist, kneel, work on your feet, work in a warehouse environment, and use a pallet jack.
Work Environment:
Working in a noisy environment; varying temperatures.
Work Location:
Onsite, located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
