$73,000.00 - $107,500.00 (Salaried)

Job Overview The Manager Area Distribution I is accountable for the delivery and merchandising of company products to customers within a Market Unit which may include multiple distribution centers. The manager provides coaching, teaching, training, and leadership to Delivery Supervisors to achieve optimal efficiencies while maintaining proper levels of customer service. The Manager works closely with the Sr. Director of Retail Sales and Area Sales Managers across multiple Retail Sales Areas, collaborates with Warehouse Managers, and ensures appropriate safety practices and product quality in the field. The annual volume is between 0M and 6.0M cases.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manages key business indicators to measure performance against company goals including delivering and serving customers daily. Monitors operational expenses and ensures teams are achieving budgets.

Ensures internal control metrics and processes are reviewed for compliance on a monthly/yearly basis. Monitors execution of the RED process to improve market execution.

Directs, leads, and motivates a team of Delivery Supervisors to deliver results, communicating goals and deadlines, engaging and developing teammates through performance management, coaching, and training.

Promotes a safety culture, participates in monthly safety meetings, oversees compliance with FMCSA regulations, and ensures services meet customer expectations and merchandising standards.

Leads collaboration with all functions within a facility to execute company programs under a One Team concept and facilitates sharing of best practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum 7-10 years with CCCI or equivalent beverage distribution experience.

Minimum 3-5 years of knowledge of CCCI business practices; 5-7 years of management experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate initiatives into action, align functions, processes, and systems.

Proven experience in change management with ability to communicate strategy and vision.

Ability to build a culture of accountability, develop talent, and build bench strength.

Financial acumen; responsible for budgeting and meeting financial goals.

Servant leadership to inspire teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP; capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and operating material handling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (4 years).

Business Management, Logistics, or related field.

Preferred Class A CDL.

Work Environment Work environment varies, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may be non-temperature controlled.
