Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 per year based upon experience.
Responsibilities GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: We are looking for a Regional Manager to facilitate achievement of the company’s strategic vision, redefining its field and operational support organization into regional divisions. In this position, the Regional Manager will be responsible for our Cortlandt Manor and Connecticut locations.
At New York Bariatric Group strong center performance is contingent on seamless integration of sales, clinical and operational functions within a center. The Regional Manager manages the intersection of these functions, maintaining responsibility for operational and financial performance of individual practices. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Manager supports best‑practice implementation and serves as the primary partner to doctors in individual practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational responsibility for a specified regional area
Drive center operational performance and throughput (working with doctors) in support of topline revenue growth; achieve operational targets as set by management
Manage all practice operations for assigned practices within the region; work with doctors to support practice clinical operations
Manage and develop a team of Practice Operations Managers
Serve as a key partner to doctors on operational, leadership, and cultural matters; maintain partnership alignment with company objectives
Develop, manage, and adhere to operational budgets/forecasts for assigned practices
Drive innovation within assigned practices; implement and adopt cultural and operational best practices; work with doctors to support clinical best practices
Optimize and improve practice operational metrics/KPIs, including input-throughput-output metrics such as surgical backlog and wait times
Onboard new practice teams; drive rapid new practice performance ramp to profitability and maturity in support of doctors
Track KPIs, metrics, ROI, and analyze performance gaps, taking proactive/corrective action to achieve targets and working with doctors to achieve practice goals
Manage hiring, development, and termination of operations staff within assigned practices
Vigilantly adhere to the commitment to the New York Bariatric Group culture in individual practices
Partner with ASC leadership to increase ASC schedule rate, create best patient experience workflows, reduce cancellation rates, and create warm handoffs
Partner with peers to align on organizational smart goals
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years operations management experience in high‑growth, distributed multi‑site services, preferably in premium, healthcare or consumer/retail facing industries
Experience in clinical or doctor relationship management required
Excellent professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills; ability to motivate and interact with diverse constituencies
Mission/purpose‑driven organization experience
Travel required up to 75%
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
