Job Summary

The Lead Facilities Maintenance Engineer is an advanced skill level position responsible for performing and overseeing general maintenance/repair activities associated with the operation of all Xanterra Tusayan facilities. Details

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Start Date: 01/14/2026 or later Pay: $21.95/hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (includes weekends, evenings, and holidays) Responsibilities

Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values. Focus on always providing exceptional quality of service to guests, both in how work is conducted and when interacting with guests. Perform and complete assigned tasks without close supervision in an accurate, cost effective and timely manner. Ability to learn all areas of Maintenance and train all General Maintenance grades. Ensure departmental adherence to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies and procedures. Perform inspections, maintenance and keep employee housing units clean as directed by human resources. Perform basic carpentry, carpet cleaning, pool maintenance and painting duties as necessary and directed. Maintenance personnel must proactively seek out and report any maintenance issues and areas of improvement; work with maintenance manager to create preventative maintenance plans. Ensure departmental usage of personal protective equipment as required while performing job. Ensure all repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and other repairs must adhere to current building codes and regulations. Perform second level maintenance and repairs as related to the preventive maintenance program. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Must possess a valid/clear Driver’s License, and be able to comply with the Xanterra Tusayan, LLC Company Vehicle Policy. Ability to complete CPO Certification. Physical Requirements

Knowledge of the hospitality industry as it relates to Engineering functions and familiar with current National Uniform Building Codes. Two-year’s experience in general building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, etc. Benefits
