This Role is Tailor‑Made for You Because: The role of a Tory Burch Buyer & Merchandiser is responsible for leading the increased sales and profitability of the department, through planning and delivering a balanced and cohesive range into stores and on site, that reflects the Brand vision, emerging trends and regional nuances. Partnering with all key stakeholders; Planning, Retail, VM, ECOM and Store Teams, to ensure key investments, best sellers and seasonal styles are promoted accordingly.

A Day in the Life:

Trading

Weekly and monthly Omni‑channel trade reporting. Manage and lead the ownership of specific categories and top‑line trade performance reporting for the DTC Business, providing sophisticated strategic updates based on sales risks, opportunities, and actions plans to drive the business.

Partner with the planning counterpart to optimize product performance from demand, markdown, stock intake and returns, ensuring financial targets are achieved/exceeded versus plan.

Work with the WHSL Buying Manager to manage the life‑cycle and end‑to‑end product management across the Region (Master Attribution/Lifecycle in/out‑of‑market conversations), enabling us to hit EOP and WOS targets. Create balanced and considered ranges.

Build an Omnichannel mindset by leveraging Webapp, Boss and Hero and an omnichannel stock approach. Ensure accurate buying, planning and allocation via BOSS.

Gain further knowledge, authority and relationships by visiting stores and key accounts more regularly.

Work with Management to deliver Regional EOM product feedback and strategy direction with a focus on owning the DTC Business input.

Buying

Be a true Product Ambassador, ensuring delivery of clear regional and channel views across all product focuses and messages.

Build a strong partnership with Corporate to enable the region to deliver on product successes and tailor for regional versus global requirements.

Collaborate with the planning partner to build seasonal financial plans, highlighting category opportunities, shaping assortment architecture.

Continuously review the market and external competitors through comp shops and store visits to keep the collection appropriate.

Develop closer relationships with CRM to gather deeper customer insights and incorporate them into product strategy.

Reduce SKUs and plan SKU counts at delivery month vs season level to maintain cohesion and alignment of strategy and investments.

Ensure proactive collaboration with the WHSL counterpart to focus buys and product strategies at a regional level.

Reevaluate regional pricing every season to elevate the brand (leather goods) while finding white space in Ready‑to‑Wear and remaining competitive on footwear.

Merchandising

Review monthly regional core (Core/Carryover) assortment and performance to protect the NOOS objective.

Improve GM% by buying smarter, focusing on high‑margin rich products and reducing off‑cadence airing.

Act as the regional lead in markdown, driving assortment and strategies to hit sales versus plan.

Collaborate with Marketing to brief product strategies before season kickoff and review launches to maximize visibility and commercial impact.

Work with Ecommerce to ensure on‑site VM maximizes sales opportunities and aligns with buying direction and regional strategy.

Partner with VM teams to review VMG with a regional mindset, reacting to trade and delivery changes.

Team

Develop junior members using effective delegation, raising competency, and guiding best practice.

Review ways of working to improve department efficiencies and output with junior support.

Raise the profile of the Buying & Merchandising team, presenting positively and professionally in meetings.

Ensure the team works on effective partnership across regional BMP functions.

Candidate Requirements

Experience of 6+ years in Buying.

Previous experience in luxury / high‑end corporate fashion retail in a buying/merchandising role with a strong fashion eye and passion for product.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience working in multiple currencies is a plus.

Strong presentation skills and effective communication.

Continual awareness of the regional customer profile reflected in all decisions.

A balance of creativity and commercial acumen.

Demonstrates initiative, self‑motivation, ownership, and a reliable, mature, confident attitude.
