The CL7 Venmo Product Sales Specialist – LE Lead is an important part of the PayPal sales organization, whose overall goal is to grow and strengthen merchant partnerships, drive increased revenue, and support overall adoption of PayPal’s revenue and payments solutions across the Americas. The focus of this role is the value‑driven sale of Venmo solutions with an emphasis on solution selling, managing a portfolio of named existing accounts and prospects, and anticipating competitor moves.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead functional projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business trends.

Identify issues and recommend best practices to improve processes.

Partner with various teams to analyze and understand business trends.

Contribute to business or process improvements within the function.

Develop strategies to enhance product sales and customer satisfaction.

Expected Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities And Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience product solutioning or selling to senior executives at Fortune 1000 companies.

Deep expertise in consumer value mapping and their application within the Branded Checkout space.

Deep expertise in funnel conversion design and optimization (ideally within Fintech, Direct to Consumer, Social, or scaled B2B2C digital platform).

Skilled storyteller with proven experience communicating and selling from a values‑based platform.

Deep experience working with C‑level executives and decision makers in Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, translating insights, product information, and data into client value.

Strong negotiation skills, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve win‑win outcomes.

Proven consultative sales abilities and the ability to work well in a matrixed environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop value‑driven narratives and ROI‑based proposals.

Strong industry knowledge of payments including eCommerce and Omni acceptance solutions.

A consistent track record of exceeding quota targets.

Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Duties And Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth for Venmo by aligning merchant needs with our solutions.

Partner with front‑book Account Executives on new deals and target co‑selling into a portfolio of named accounts.

Support the US Venmo pipeline with accurate forecasting and account plans.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and propel cross‑sell opportunities.

Support the US Product Sales Specialist team, co‑managing the full sales cycle, including pre‑sales calls, customized presentations, ROI‑based proposals, and contract negotiation.

Lead prospecting, discovery, product fit consulting, pricing, negotiation, compliance, risk, contract generation, training, and post‑live support.

Sell upstream messaging and button placement for Venmo and new Venmo products/feature enhancements.

Drive structured deals that include co‑marketing, case studies, exclusivity, A/B testing, data sharing, and measurable value propositions.

Provide feedback to product development, finance, legal, marketing, GTM, and sales enablement based on customer experience.

Build a positive impact on culture and teamwork through sharing learnings and leading by example.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

Travel up to 40% of the time.

Compensation PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $178,000 to $305,800, and may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
