Your Role On Our Team The Logistics Planner II is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and expediting production schedules while considering customer demand, product mix, and plant capacity that ensures on-time delivery to our customers both internally and externally. Due to the nature of this position, interaction with all departments throughout the organization is common. This job description lists major areas of responsibility and additional job activities may be added at any time.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Develop and plan production schedules for all incoming and outgoing containers based on equipment, labor, priority and inventory availability within Building E (this includes door assignments and location of where the product will be stored)

Work closely with all receiving clerks to ensure proper completion of open tasks and requests

Audit all variances for incoming receipts

Maintain all transfer, shuttle, and receiving documentation

Responsible for systemic and physical tracking of equipment, product, yard capacity, and personnel (yard drivers)

Communicate and collaborate with various operations and manufacturing departments to ensure timely release and completion of material requests

Actively participate in daily or weekly production meetings to review priorities, capacity constraints, and discuss current/future production requirements or project initiatives

Responsible for efficient and accurate movement of product to maintain inventory integrity within all sites

Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

Achieve targeted cycle time metrics as established by the business

Other duties as required and assigned

The TOOLS You’ll Bring With You

Requires education equivalent to four years of high school; two-year degree preferred

Ability to skillfully navigate in ERP system

Basic knowledge of WMS, preferably High Jump

Must have 5 years direct or indirect experience in a distribution center scheduling role

Strong organizational skills and stellar attention to detail are essential

Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

Working knowledge in MS Office
