Overview
Account Executive – Customer Development at Gallo Winery. Join Gallo, a family‑owned company with over 90 years of legacy and 130+ brands across wines, spirits, and ready‑to‑drink beverages. In this full‑time field role, you will develop profitable share growth across assigned accounts, build relationships with buyers, category teams, distributor partners, and create joint business plans to increase distribution and visibility both in‑store and online.
Responsibilities You will be a collaborative problem‑solver who inspires the execution of chain priorities and distributor strategies, champions retailer advocacy, and embraces innovation to unlock e‑retail and omnichannel opportunities. You will lead initiatives across shelf, cold box, assortment and promotional execution; manage resources by customer tier; forecast business results; and ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and safety requirements. Mentorship, succession planning and clear communication across internal teams and distributor organizations are core to success.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree plus 3–4 years of Gallo or CPG sales/account management experience or high school diploma plus 7–8 years of similar experience, reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire.
Required to obtain a Liquor License as required by state/locality.
Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% of the time.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events up to 5% of the time.
Required to be 18 years or older.
What You'll Stand Out
Bachelor’s degree plus 6–7 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales or customer development experience, including a previous rotation as Business Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr., or Account Manager 2.
Gallo account management or project analyst experience.
