We’re looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in a role that primarily operates outdoors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pipe systems, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and codes.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems.
Select appropriate materials, such as pipes, fittings, and fixtures, and ensure their proper preparation and assembly.
Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and cutting tasks to connect pipes and related components.
Conduct tests and inspections to ensure systems meet safety and quality standards.
Identify and repair malfunctions in pipelines, such as leaks or blockages, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures, especially when working in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Pipefitter, with a focus on outdoor work.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of various piping materials, tools, and techniques.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
Welding and cutting skills.
Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
