Job Description SRNL's Weapons Production Technology Division is seeking an experienced, career-level Engineer to support Reservoir Surveillance Operations for the Reservoir Systems Laboratory group.
Responsibilities The position is responsible for the oversight of surveillance operations, continuous improvement of surveillance functions to maintain highly capable and robust laboratory and test systems and the technical reporting of Gas Transfer System (GTS) surveillance per Design Agency requirements.
Tasks Will Include
Data analysis
Laboratory support
Calculation development
Technical report writing and general engineering expertise.
Hands-on experience in gas handling, vacuum systems is desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or other closely related engineering or science fields with 7-9 yrs relevant experience
MS + 5-7 yrs relevant experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance, for which US Citizenship is legally required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in support of tritium production and experience in database management
Proficient in Excel, Visual basic, Labware LIMS, OriginPro, process tracking and trending, and statistical uncertainty calculations.
