Diesel Mechanic
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform day‑to‑day maintenance and repair on our fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts at our Kansas City, MO service center. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, minor and major repairs, and maintaining equipment such as trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding tasks as required.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and related components.
Execute minor and major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts.
Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding equipment.
Use Cetaris work order system to track work.
Requirements
Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
Ability to handle major repairs.
Experience with AC and electrical systems.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and own tools.
Preferred Experience
2+ years Diesel Mechanic experience.
Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines.
Experience using Cetaris work orders.
Class A CDL holder.
Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks.
Experience in trailer preventive maintenance and repairs.
