A respected and growing manufacturer of advanced packaging automation is hiring an
Electrical Assembly Technician
to play a hands‑on role in building, wiring, and debugging high‑performance industrial machinery. This is a direct‑hire opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys problem‑solving, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment where precision matters.
Hours & Pay
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (First Shift Only)
Pay Rate: $20.50-$22.00 per hour, based on experience
What You'll Do Each Day
Assemble, wire, set up, and debug electrical systems for packaging automation machinery
Complete machine builds according to mechanical and electrical specifications and assembly documentation
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to ensure machines meet quality and performance standards
Verify the accuracy and completeness of the build documentation throughout the assembly process
Collaborate respectfully with cross‑functional teams to support project completion timelines
Assist with training and mentoring assembly team members as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tools, equipment, and workstations
Support continuous improvement while following all safety policies and procedures
Travel to customer sites when requested to support machine installation or service
What We're Looking For
Associate degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience
OR high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant electrical or machine assembly experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems used in industrial or packaging machinery
Proven ability to set up, test, and debug complex machines
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently
Proficiency with basic computer systems and technical documentation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic
Clear, professional communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
Packaging industry experience is preferred but not required
