Chestnut Ridge Apartments has a great opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our 108-unit residential apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, and more.
Responsibilities
Monitor, schedule, and inspect work performed by maintenance staff
Maintain a clean, organized shop and inventory
Obtain bids on special projects
Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget
Perform general maintenance of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs
Perform manual repairs when necessary (e.g., fix locks, replace windows)
Appliance repair & troubleshooting
Conduct general upkeep proceduresBe on call as assigned by property manager
Skills
2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
Strong leadership skills
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
Knowledge of common tools, appliances, and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength
HVAC Certification
