Ice Cream Line Lead
Idaho Milk Products seeks an experienced production leader for its Ice Cream Plant in Jerome, Idaho. The role reports to the Ice Cream Supervisor and operates during the Day Shift.

Responsibilities
Supervise all production stages on the assigned ice cream line—mixing, freezing, filling, and packaging.
Monitor line performance to meet production schedules and minimize downtime.
Ensure proper setup and operation of equipment for novelty and bulk ice cream products.
Lead, train, and coach line operators to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Enforce food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA) and conduct in‑process quality checks.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and warehouse teams to resolve production issues quickly.
Communicate production updates and challenges to the Plant Supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
2+ years in food manufacturing with leadership experience on a production line.
Knowledge of ice cream or dairy production processes.
Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment and process issues.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Physical Requirements
Exposure to ambient (60‑70°F), refrigerated (35°F), and frozen (‑20°F) temperatures.
Regular walking, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
Tolerance to up to 92 dB noise levels.
