The Environmental Advisor will manage several air compliance programs under NSPS Part 60 and NESHAP Part 63, as well as Annual Emissions Inventory, Greenhouse Gas, Toxic Release Inventory, Tier II, and Toxic Substances Control Act reporting. Responsibilities include data evaluation, periodic reporting, coordination of stack testing/Annual RATAs, preparing semi‑annual and annual compliance reports, and providing technical writing for agency correspondence. Additional duties include on‑call spill response, attending refinery meetings, trainings, and supporting major events such as turnarounds and root‑cause analysis team charters. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental or a related technical field. Three (3) years of related job experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Preferred: Refinery or chemical plant experience. Job Duties

Manage and gather required data for periodic compliance reports, including Plant Manager certification and submission to regulatory agencies. Prepare and submit reportable quantity (RQ) incident notifications for air emissions and spills during On‑Call Duty. Schedule, monitor, and manage contractor stack/performance testing and annual RATA testing, ensuring timely agency reports. Use industry compliance tools to enhance data gathering and reporting efficiency. Maintain and improve compliance program processes, guidance documents, and procedures; train refinery personnel and update Turnaround Environmental Plans. Maintain regulatory knowledge and act as single point of contact for assigned refinery areas. Incentives
