The
Production Manager
is a key leadership role in the plant, partnering with every department to drive safety, quality, and production. This role is a change agent who leads front‑line supervisors and ensures that all plant activities meet the highest standards.
Qualified candidates must be able to work an on‑site schedule at our
Nicholasville, KY
facility.
Role Responsibilities
Provide leadership for and coordinate activities of production and maintenance departments to manufacture air filtration system products.
Manage the manufacturing functions of a 2‑shift operation, including planning production flow, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, handling staffing, monitoring production orders, scheduling, and providing technical training.
Develop and analyze production and operating reports, resolving operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays.
Work with supervisors on employee relations, problem solving, goal setting, manufacturing processes, scheduling, disciplinary action, terminations, equipment issues, and training.
Collaborate closely with plant staff on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost, developing programs, ensuring compliance, and delivering training.
Champion the company’s lean culture and oversee continuous improvement change‑management processes.
Ensure compliance with environmental, state, and federal regulations, emphasizing sustainability.
Assist employees and supervisors in solving work‑related problems and determine effective remediation techniques.
Develop and revise standard operational and working practices, observing compliance.
Maintain the plant’s operational budget.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5 years professional manufacturing experience.
3 years managerial or supervisory experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of scheduling, budgets, ERP systems, and production processes.
Experience in a Lean or Continuous Improvement environment.
Proven record of leading and implementing projects and tracking ROI.
