Position Summary The Service Technician services both the overall business of the company and the needs of customers by diagnosing installation issues, assessing viable solutions for said issues and accurately drafting a fixed timeline to resolve, replace or repair. Candidates must have significant experience in the home remodeling industry, specific to replacement windows & doors, vinyl siding, asphalt shingle roofing and gutters. This position works almost primarily in the field with minimal supervision or contact with a manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Confirm all scheduled services at least 1‑2 days in advance to ensure readiness.
Equipment and/or material preparation prior to scheduled appointments.
Review customer details, service requirements, and any special instructions beforehand.
Perform each service efficiently and effectively, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
Complete assigned services within the designated timeframes, maintaining quality and workmanship.
Consistently seek ways to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction & provide feedback.
Ensure timely communication for issues that require further resolution or investigation.
Core Competencies
Must have the ability to prioritize and manage time.
Must be organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
Must have great customer service skills.
Must be comfortable with negotiating and independently having the authority to make decisions to resolve customer concerns in real time.
General knowledge of residential construction and hands‑on experience.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma and 2‑4 years of related work experience is required.
Required Licenses and Certifications: OSHA 10, RRP Lead Renovator Certification (Will receive upon employment if not currently certified).
