We’re expanding our operations and launching a new electrical division within a thriving commercial HVAC contracting company — and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Commercial Estimator to join our team.

As part of this exciting new department, you’ll play a key role in shaping our estimating processes, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of every bid we submit.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare precise electrical cost estimates

Perform detailed cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment

Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure project accuracy and profitability

Maintain compliance with local building codes, NEC standards, and safety regulations

Develop and manage multiple bids and proposals simultaneously

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical estimating experience

Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, or similar)

Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction documents

Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills

Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes

Must pass a federal background check, have a clean MVR, and pass a drug screen
