Solar Electrician

This temporary position, with guaranteed employment through 12/31/2025, requires a minimum of 40-hour work weeks based out of our Raleigh, NC office. Approximately 25% of the time will involve remote work in NC and SC, with at least one week per month spent out of town.
Responsibilities
Participate in the physical installation of residential solar electrical equipment and battery backup systems.
Interpret single line electrical plans and install equipment in accordance with plan sets.
Run conduit both exterior and interior, run NM cable in crawl space/attic.
Work in electrical panels, replace landing breakers, and move existing breakers.
Install solar inverters (including lifting up to 50 lbs) and battery backup systems such as Tesla Powerwall and Generac PWRCell.
Review residential and commercial electrical plan sets for errors and correct information.
Complete required training courses from product manufacturers for new products and obtain necessary certifications.
Qualifications
OSHA 10 certification (preferred before hire; required before starting).
General construction knowledge and experience using hand tools (drills, saws, drivers).
Ability to work at high heights with a safety harness, outdoors, in attics and crawlspaces under extreme conditions.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions encountered in NC.
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience installing solar and battery systems.
