About the Role The Building Envelope Consultant will act as a technical leader within the Building Envelope Group, overseeing design, investigation, and repair projects across a wide range of enclosure systems. This position blends field and office responsibilities, offering exposure to both technical problem-solving and client engagement. The Ideal Experience 6–10+ years of experience in building envelope design, repair, and forensic investigation Licensed Professional Engineer (PE, SE) or Registered Architect (RA) (required) MS or PhD in a related engineering discipline (preferred) Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated project experience Experience with terra cotta, brick, or stone masonry systems, and/or curtainwall, window wall, skylight, or storefront systems (experience with both is an asset) Proven ability to generate budgets, schedules, and manage full project delivery Typical Responsibilities Lead building envelope investigations, condition assessments, and repair design projects Conduct forensic site assessments (approximately 30% fieldwork) Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, contractors, and building owners Prepare technical reports, repair documents, and provide construction administration services Support project delivery, mentorship of junior staff, and client relationship development Why Join Collaborate with nationally recognized leaders in building envelope engineering Rapid advancement potential and clear pathways to senior leadership Strong emphasis on professional development and technical excellence Diverse, challenging projects across new construction and forensic investigation A collaborative, flexible work culture with meaningful work-life balance Interested candidates can apply directly or contact
