Job Summary
At Cherokee Millwright, we are a multi‑craft company that focuses on meeting our customers’ unique job requests by providing skilled personnel across a wide range of trades including millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil, and more. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Examine objects, systems, or facilities to determine needed installations, services, or repairs. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Dismantle machines, move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, airbags, and forklifts. Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails. Construct foundations, adjust clearance, and align machinery using hand tools, squares, micrometers, and plumb bobs. Assemble machines and fasten them to foundations or structures using bolts, welds, rivets, or other methods. Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, torches, and welders as required. Education And Experience
High school diploma, GED, or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Equal Opportunity Employer
