Description At Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system by growing food where people live and growing it responsibly. Through our production kitchen and juicing centre, we prepare fresh juices and ready‑to‑eat foods that reflect our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. To support these operations, we’re looking for a Kitchen Supervisor for the night shift to lead day‑to‑day production activities. In this hands‑on, people‑focused role, you’ll oversee daily kitchen and juicing operations, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards in a high‑volume environment. You’ll supervise production teams, execute daily production plans, and ensure full compliance with food safety regulations. The Kitchen Supervisor is accountable for key performance indicators, including labour costs, quality, inventory management, and waste.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily production of juices, beverages, and prepared foods.
Execute production schedules to meet volume, quality, and flow‑through targets.
Lead production activities including preparation, juicing, bottling, labelling, sanitation, and cleaning.
Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, MAPAQ, and CFIA food safety standards.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, labelling, and sanitation records.
Train, coach, and support production staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Monitor yields, waste, labour efficiency, and overall production performance.
Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and cleaning of production equipment.
Collaborate with reception and distribution teams to ensure smooth and accurate workflow.
Foster a strong culture of food safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production kitchen, food manufacturing, or beverage/juicing facility.
Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical production environment.
Comfortable using Google Suite and similar software applications.
Highly organized, caring, and hardworking, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg and work in cold or refrigerated environments.
Assets
Experience in juice or beverage production.
HACCP or food safety certification.
Bilingual in English and French.
Schedule 40 hours per week over 4 days on the night shift, with one weekend day mandatory. Schedule is 10 pm to 8 am either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary is to be determined based on the experience and knowledge of the candidate.
